The clubhouse pavilion
This impressive brand new facility is long way from what the club has had to call it’s own in recent years, and is a big step up! Clad in wood panels, with a slate roof and excellent decking area, this will be a great place to watch cricket from in the coming years.
Inside, there is a large clubroom with both a lounge area and table seating for plenty of players.

To help serve the tea’s there is a fully stocked kitchen with every appliance you could ever need and more! And of course, there is a bar area, with a couple of extra tables.

Moving onto the changing rooms, there are two large changing rooms, each with a toilet and shower area. The umpires have their own changing room also with shower facilities.

Back into the main clubroom, there are excellent separate toilet facilities for male and female, along with separate disabled facilities

Spectators can sit on the clubhouse decking and watch the game from this excellent viewing platform, keeping in touch with the score thanks to the double aspect electronic scoreboard!

The outfield itself is large, with plenty of room for both the pitch and outfield, along with a dedicated training area which currently houses two new artificial nets.

More photos will appear throughout the season showing how the ground and it’s facilities are being used and also improved, but get down in the summer and check it out for yourself!
How to get to ‘The Leaze’
The Leaze is behind the Wimborne Model Town, and is accessed off King Street. As you drive past the Minster as the road is about to bear right, look on your left for a turning. Take this turning and go down the un-made road through the gates. As you follow this road round the cricket ground is the left of the two entrances. Click here for a google map link . If you are using Sat Nav, please use the postcode BH21 1DY.
