Nice to see A.Looter in the team. Apparantly he is always keen to steal a quick single (or anything else).

Another fine performance form the mighty Dunkster.
This man certainly has a good grip on his wood and can amply handle his balls.
A master with both leather and willow.
Fire it up Dunky !!!

Crikey chaps.........jolly good show over past few weeks. 5th place and climbing! I've been reclaiming Africa for the British Empire over the past four weeks and news of victories has only just reached me in the jungle via elephant post. The sketchy telegraph must have been subject to mis-print however as it appeared to claim that 'Cole had scored a stylish 50 v Weymouth'....surely some mistake.
Hope to make it back in time for late August and seeing you chaps seal the championship on last day!

Hi

To those older (!!!) members of Wimborne CC some of you may recall Sturminster Marshall Cricket club legend Pete Morey who sadly passed away last summer. Pete was involved in the "Stur Minstrels" tours of the 90 's and in fact played occasionally for me in the WCC Friendly XL on Sunday's in the 80's. SMCC are holding a charity day - details below.

The club are holding a charity day on Sunday 28th August at Churchill Close in memory of Pete Morey. The day will consist of a cricket match between past and present players as well as activities during the day for all the family. Evening entertaiment will take place in the hall with Phil King and his band playing as well as a BBQ and bar run by the Churchil Arms.

The day will be in aid of Stur CC and Retintis pigmentosa(tunnel vision).

Contact club Secretary Ross Humphreys, SMCC Club Secretary if you require further info:
